Se lasa vasul la racit. Separat, se fierbe laptele cu zaharul vanilat si apoi se lasa sa se raceasca. In alt vas, se bat ouale cu restul de zahar, adaugand laptele caldut, putin cate putin. Compozitia obtinuta se toarna in cratita cu zahar caramelizat si se fierbe, in bain-marie, 30-40 minute. Dupa ce s-a racit, se rastoarna pe un platou.
